Building these banjos with their unique sound from a time now passed is an enjoyable labour of love.

Over the years I have developed a tension system to adjust the head just like on modern banjos and a laminated neck eliminate any tension warp.

I take particular care with the installation of the friction tuning pegs so instruments are easy to keep in tune.

All banjos are fitted with Nylgut strings. 

My love of art, photography and woodwork have come together to create these unique Australian art pieces.

In my contemporary landscape many layers of colour and mediums are blended to create pieces that are quite different to main stream contemporary landscape art.

By embellishing photographs of outback and coastal scenes with acrylics and mediums, I take the detail of an image, add texture and colour to create a dimensional individual piece.

All works are presented with a Certificate of Authenticity in handmade floating frames ready to shelf display or hang.

A keen observer of life, Australiana Balladeer George Royter uses both his personal experiences and old timer’s recollections to weave these sentiments into poignant songs.

His live performances are filled with the stories and tales that bring the songs to life.
